Aaaaaahhh what can i say its taken a few months or so but little Nector bee noo is now around 13.1 and is getting very affectionate... I have to say I like her more each day and have to admire her quick wits and intelligence! I wouldn't say she makes her spotty companion look stupid exactly... just that he needs some time to keep abreast of current affairs..... where as she does not miss a damn thing.

I have taken to making her useful, getting her to carry the water containers linked by a stirrup strap so they are equal weights over her back. She now fills up the water in the field. She also patrols the field for stray cats, dogs or antisocial trespassers that dare to come into the field uninvited... ( from Nector to Ninja LOL... ) She also gives the most lovely Muley cuddles... and has the most graceful walk and trot!!!

She is great now to handle all over... apart from occassional ear handling issues which she is getting over in time.. she is starting to get used to having a saddle on and a bridle. She has already walked out in a roller, numnah and stirrups and worn a rug.

She is sooooo special I can' wait for her to be backed and start going out more... she loves walking out on hacks with her horse friends and hates to say goodbye when we leave them to go back to the field.... Hmmmm maybe separation will be an issue LOL... will have to work on that one....!!!

People keep asking what i am doing with a mule? I either say that is my dressage pony... because she is so dainty, graceful and elegant or think to my self.. actually what am i doing with a horse.. the mule isn't the problem??? ( i shouldn't say that i love my horse... but he is just such a jelly by comparision!!!! The mule is so clever and brave and she is just a baby!!!!)
