He kicked like mad LOL! But we got there in the end.
Bit of both really, always wanted a baby mule to bring up as the ones you see for sale all seem to have lots of issues. Wanted a bigger one really but he was there so I got him. I should be able to ride him a bit I think but if not theres always driving.

Charcoal used to hate having her feet handled and was initially nicknamed Muley Beast - food was lowered over the fence in a bucket on string! It just takes time for them to grow & trust you..
Now she loves it when the farrier comes - perhaps as she is guaranteed a nice walk & some hedgerow nibbling afterwards.
