Needless to say I'm absolutely thrilled, it's been a fairly long wait, two years since I bought her!
But here we are, saddle hopefully sorted (Bob Marshall treeless), mule happy, she adores hacking out but isn't so keen on schooling (she sees no reason to be steered in the school!) and the cow parsley is in flower which is her current passion in life. Even beating pears.
Eating Pears/ she'll get drunk on perry Cider!
Your bob marshall fits much better than mine, mine always seems too far forward
i tried sarah-lees breeching (Which is too small) and that seemed a bit better
but Malaga still voiced an opinion
so I've ordered some proper Mule breeching off Plas Equestrian

It must be something to do with my computer. When I look at the little picture your mule looks like a dachshund! when i click on the picture to enlarge it it comes out normal but with black bars across it!
Its the same today but the one black bar is slightly higher so I can see the bit I was missing yesterday...I was trying to see if you had a special leather bit like some western saddles, to slip the cynch end through but I see you use one of the rings.

Excellent! I think the smile says it all..
Sounds like you may have a point & shoot mule like mine - loves trails, can't see the point in circles, schooling or standing!
Favourite hedgerow snack - yes cow parsley flowers and young hazel leaves.
Anyway congratulations may you have many happy miles under saddle!!

Mules warm your heart
Moon is a lovely mule and you look so happy on board at last. Heres hoping that you get a fair few years of happy riding together before any more nasties raise their heads.
