Is it just Mrs Moon or does anyone elses' mule hate to walk near edges ad hedges and prefer the middle of the road?

Malaga's no problem he'll even walk over drain covers but Picasso,like Sarah-lee is very wary of "Troll holes"
Also I think it could be in some cases that the road is level in the middle whereas it must be a bit like walking along the side of a hill to walk on the sloping bit :wink:
It's a case of teaching "follow the rail" with no rail :)
Perhaps Moon is trying to walk on the "right" side of the road as she comes from the USA :lol:

Oh yes Charcoal will always choose the middle of the road and has to be told to "get over" when any traffic comes!

You try making them walk in the middle of a mountain track! NO CHANCE! They will hug the edge so your outside stirrup is in free fall.They naturally walk the edge and donkeys do to!
