Hi I am located in not so sunny but rather chilly Scotland, would like ideally a mule to ride, don't really mind if it is a youngster. As far as budget goes I have no idea as to what is a realistic price? Any suggestions or info welcome

Where are you in Scotland (I'm about 15 mins from Gretna)? I cannot work out budget on mules to be honest, everyone seems to want a ride and drive superstar for a grand these days. For me a good mule should be the price of an equivalent horse or pony and then a little extra for rarity?
