Sadly Muffin died yesterday.
He had another colicky episode and a second surgery was thought to be not the best option.
He leaves a huge gap in our lives and for the BMS. A wonderful representative for driving mules he competed annually at Windsor and came to numerous Mule Days.
Gill & I both got our mules in 1989 and helped each other with training in the early days. I groomed for her in various vehicles at lots of events, including riding a dressage test. Muffin was truely versatile.. a reliable friend.

Oh how sad
i don't know if people know that Charlie also lost Henry in June, another active mule, trekking over the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela with his previous owner.
