Anyone seen these?

http://www.wowsaddles.com/wow/wowaccessories.htm

Any thoughts? I"m not clear whether you have to have a WOW saddle to use them. But they are claimed to be good for horses whose saddles slide forward. Any mule potential do you think?

Moon is back in work :-) So saddle issues are back at the forefront of my mind! We've gone really traditional with her. She's now going for walks down into the village led alongside a sensible older horse she trusts, to start getting her muscled up and get to look at the world. She comes home mentally (not physically!!!) exhausted (she's only doing a 1 mile round trip at the walk!) and lies down to sleep all afternoon but is being very good and seems to enjoy herself. She'll be re-backed very soon...

I dont think you need a WOW Saddle, but certainly you need a smaller leather girth behind. And yes, i think thats a good alternative for Mule Rider which have (not yet) a britchen.

Thanks Jinglejoys!!! :-)

I do have a lovely set of mule britchen, oiled and ready to go, but I'm not sure I've got D rings in the right place on the lovely new English treeless I accidentally kind of found myself buying last week. It's a HM Fhoenix that although second hand appears never to have been used.

I should have stuck to a rug fetish. Much cheaper than a saddle fetish. I now have 8 saddles between 2 equines which is frankly ridiculous especially when two of them don't fit either of them. Still got two western saddles for sale, anyone want one??!!!!
