 Post subject: The New Forest (my inane thoughts...)

I believe as a reflection on the current economic situation the New Forest Pony people (not sure if it's the breed society or what!!) have decided that the pony stallions will only run out on the forest in June this year....

So I was thinking - presumably the donkeys, and in particular the JACK DONKEYS will still run out (how are they governed?)

Just thought that there could be an awful lot more mule foals at the sales in 2010 if a keen little jack donkey was to go around "mopping up" after the stallions were removed :lol:

Anyone know more about it?

There's someone on the IHDG that understands these sort of things she found details of that new forest mule last year.....bet the donkey has fun! :lol:
