Pictures in the gallery on the British Mule Society website show a number of large riding mules, are these bred in the U.K. or are they imported animals? If they are imported are the Fench, Belgian or Spanish? How do they adapt to being in the U.K.? I would be very grateful if anyone could answer my questions thankyou . mick

I have what I believe is a British bred mule at about 14.3, Elkay on here has a Yank and Jinglejoys has a Spanish mule, so generally a bit of a mix.
There are a few people breeding bigger mules in the UK. I did buy a mare to use as a mule momma earlier this year but she didn't have the temperament for it!!!
Hi mick123,welcome.
The pictures in the gallery are mostly Spanish Imports but there is also Murielle who was the pair to Charlie Pinney's french import Thelma (see the For Sale and wanted section),Betty (warmblood x)and Janices chestnut(Suffolk cross) which were both bred by Susannah Powel who is shown working Monty (Shire cross)in the banner above the gallery
If you look on the sister page to this site http://mulesuk.blogspot.com/ you will see a lot of mules we have and their stories
