I'm so proud of her.... she's been SO well behaved, despite new surroundings of an indoor school (she's been in there once before, but not for 17 months) and distraction potential of 6 other horses. Was actually up on her for 2 hours, though only walking and a fair amount of standing around, even so she was very pooped afterwards. And the steering was improving... may be able to wangle some pics tommorrow....

Hello, saddle - the Bob marshall treeless - it's ace - she likes it, I like it and it doesn't budge.

Bridle - we're not happy with her bitting, she doesn't seem to understand steering from bit, so today I just rode her in a rope halter.... but I'm going to try a myler combination tomorrow (set to work more off nose than mouth) and outside the clinic setting, we're going back to baby basics to try to re-learn the bit thing - and if that doesn't work then it's a bosal, Dr Cook or hackamore for now.

I'm using a Myler combination on Picasso and he is very good in it.I have to be very light, just a twitch of the fingers is usually enough. :) Let us know how you like it,mines only a very short shank
