Well, thank you ladies. Life is not so bad. Pebbles is growing like mad, and we already have her in harness...

She now loads and unloads from the horsebox just for the fun of it, and has made friends with OH's now horse

She had her first trim six weeks ago

We did a wedding with a pair of donkeys recently, Annie and Cinders

and I bought another donkey last week, so I now have six.

This is OH's new horse, a 3 year old breton

As Jinglejoys says, and I know she has already put a link on here, I have a new Forum Board specifically for donkey lovers, but mule and horse owners are equally welcome.
So, that's me.

Certainly love the little Donk, and what a sweetie. Sadly I am not allowed a donkey any longer. It is bad enough we have them, mule and horses talk resounding around our valley, but my family and my neighbor will lynch me if I got another donk! As of October 2009 a 2 year old is around 2 to 400euros. Stallions are around 5 to 800 depending on the weakness of the buyer and the determination of the seller! Mares can go for up to 1k plus depending on condition height etc! I love the Breton horse. What are you doing with it? Good Luck. Albert.
