Tell Sarah that far from "disturbing "Mother Natures " blue prints ",Mules occure naturally in the wild so mother nature can't be that concerned Zorses were also bred in South Africa because they were more immune to desease that killed their horses so no worries there either
Downs sydrome......? Well we all know that mules are more intelligent than their parents so genetics went wrong somewhere Who is it that is riding a Zebra in this country? I'll try and find out

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I'm sure there is a Zorse in Groombridge near Tunbridge Wells. I used to see it in a paddock next to the main road past Groombridge Place, along with a couple of Llamas and sheep. It looked about 14hh, pale biege with striped legs and quarters, and zebra ears. I haven't been past there this year, but it was there for at least three years previously.
Thanks DaisyMae,i put up a thread on the IHDG for somebody who might live near there and FluffyPony pointed me here
http://www.groombridge.co.uk/ef_other.htm I'm going to follow it up to see if it is one of the "missing" Zeedonks

Just received my Savvy Times and there's a nice story about Zebb,a Zorse, purchased with some personality "issues" from a petting zoo.
After some Parelli training he was confident enough to travel to a studio in New York to appear on a chat show,

Cotswold Wildlife Park (I think) are the ones who sometimes advertise zebras for sale in Horse Deals.
Zebras fall under Dangerous Wild Animals legislation, hybrids don't AFAIK, so you might want to have a chat with your local council as to what they'd require terms of facilities and fencing before contemplating getting a zebra...
